1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Kamao Daily ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Platform.

2. Description of Service

Kamao Daily is a hyperlocal task marketplace that connects task posters with workers in their neighborhood. We provide a platform for users to post tasks, discover local work, communicate, and process payments.

3. User Accounts

Registration

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform
  • You must provide accurate and complete information
  • You are responsible for maintaining account security
  • One account per person is allowed

Verification

  • Phone verification via OTP is required for all accounts
  • KYC verification (government ID + selfie) is optional but recommended for trust
  • We reserve the right to suspend unverified or suspicious accounts

4. User Conduct

You agree NOT to:

  • Post illegal, fraudulent, or misleading tasks
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
  • Use the Platform for illegal activities
  • Attempt to bypass the escrow payment system
  • Create fake reviews or manipulate ratings
  • Share account credentials with others
  • Use automated tools to access the Platform

5. Tasks and Work

For Task Posters

  • Provide accurate task descriptions and requirements
  • Ensure payment is available before posting
  • Release payment promptly upon task completion
  • Communicate respectfully with workers

For Workers

  • Only apply for tasks you can complete
  • Complete accepted tasks in good faith
  • Arrive on time and communicate delays
  • Maintain professional conduct at all times

6. Payments

Escrow System

All payments are held in escrow until task completion. Funds are released to the worker when the task poster confirms completion.

Platform Fee

Kamao Daily charges a 5-10% platform fee on completed transactions. This fee covers payment processing, verification, and platform maintenance.

Disputes

Users have 7 days after task completion to file a dispute. Our admin team will review evidence and provide a fair resolution.

7. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Task posters can cancel before a worker is accepted
  • After acceptance, cancellation may result in partial payment to the worker
  • Workers who repeatedly cancel accepted tasks may face account restrictions

8. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, and intellectual property on the Platform belong to Kamao Daily or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

  • The quality of work performed by users
  • The accuracy of user profiles or reviews
  • Uninterrupted or error-free service

10. Limitation of Liability

Kamao Daily is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Kamao Daily harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Platform or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka.
